XLR-Input Integrated Microphone Splitters
Wireworks
XLR-Input Integrated Microphone Splitters, highly specialized termination
components featuring genuine Jensen Transformers, are available in
two convenient configurations: Splitting MultiBoxes and Splitting
MultiRacks.
These microphone
splitters are available in various models, offering one, two, or
three isolated outputs for use in stage monitoring, remote
recording, and broadcast applications. Utilizing only the highest
quality transformers provides uncompromising performance in these
critical applications.
Each microphone channel features a 1:1, 1:1:1, or 1:1:1:1 turns ratio
bridging transformer with a single primary, and one, two, or three
secondary windings. Transformers also maintain separate faraday shields
and reject common mode noise caused by the voltage differences between
the chassis of the multiple mixers. Phantom power can be provided
by the mixer which terminates the microphone directly. Each microphone
input on both box and rack type models is equipped with a ground lift
switch.
Splitting MultiBoxes are offered in several different series, all
of which may be ordered in corresponding rack mount units. Splitting
MultiRacks are distinct from their box-type counterparts in that they
are specifically designed to mount in all standard 19 inch EIA equipment
enclosures. This rack mount-ability simplifies storage and offers
up-front plugging for convenience and portability.
