MultiRacks
MultiRacks
are important members of the Wireworks Multicable Components Group
family. These termination components serve as a link between Wireworks
main Multicable sections and your interface equipment.
The distinct advantage of MultiRacks is that, in addition to up-front
plugging and clearly identified channel numbers, MultiRacks are designed
to be mounted in EIA standard 19" equipment racks for permanent
installations. Rack mounting provides a simple, convenient, and attractive
way of putting a Multicable termination right there with the rest
of your equipment. In temporary or on-the-road applications, MultiRacks
can be mounted in portable racks on wheels. This eliminates the need
to "re-patch," saving many valuable hours.
Wireworks MultiRacks are manufactured from the finest materials; they
stand up beautifully to the rigors of professional daily use. All
MultiRack front panels are rigid aluminum, black anodized with engraved
channel numbers. MultiRacks have an enclosed steel rear chassis which
protects the wiring from any possible damage. Front panel handles
protect the connectors and provide a convenient tie-off point to secure
incoming cables. All multipin connectors are mounted on the front
panel.
MultiRacks are available in all Wireworks standard channel sizes and
are equipped with 1, 2, 3, or 4 multipin connectors.
