Guardian Panel Mounts use the same simple technique that remote and news-gathering trucks have used for years. The idea is nothing new but the implementation is. Guardian Panel Mounts utilize a simple recessing ring, which is fabricated out of steel for strength and durability.
Utilized in a number of different scenarios, Guardian Panel Mounts can be used as a recessed low-voltage mounting ring, an adaptor for a NEMA-style surface mount box or a flush-mounted electrical box.
When used as a recessed low-voltage ring, a Guardian Panel Mount can be easily installed directly in the wall or any other structure, even a lectern, using mounting screws, fasteners or toggle bolts. Then a custom connector panel can be easily attached for added protection. As an adaptor for an electrical box, the panel mount can be ordered in the exact box size for surface mount installations or ordered one inch larger than the electrical box for flush-mounted applications where the extra wide flange covers any seam between the box and the surrounding wall. Guardian Panel Mounts are available in most standard NEMA electrical box sizes for both surface mount and flush mounting with standard depths of either one or two inches. Custom sizes and configurations are available upon request.
Guardian Panel Mounts are manufactured in heavy gauge steel with welded and ground corners and painted with a light textured finish. Eight pre-drilled holes on the outer flange enable easy mounting while eight tapped holes in the inner flange facilitate mounting the connector panel.
