Wireworks DMX512 Lighting Control Cables are manufactured with the finest materials to ensure that your signal reaches each instrument without interference or degradation. All Wireworks DMX Cord Assemblies are available now with either 5 or 3 pin Neutrik XLR male and female connectors. These connectors each feature a rugged die-cast shell, compact design and a unique chuck type strain relief to greatly reduce the possibility of the cable pulling out of the connector.

The cable itself is key; it is crucial to superior data transmission... and Wireworks DMX cable exceeds the specifications of USITT DMX512-1990. Two stranded tinned copper 24 gauge pairs insulated with cellular polypropylene yield an amazingly low 12.5 pico farads of capacitance per foot, providing absolutely clear data flow. The two pairs are then shielded: first with 100% coverage polyester aluminum foil, next with a second shield of 65% braided tinned copper - for twice the efficacy of mere foil shielding. A tough 0.035" PVC jacket completes the cable and gives all the rugged protection that is needed for every day use in harsh environments.
