Wireworks diGi8 G-Series AES/EBU Component Cabling is the only AES/EBU line of cabling components which feature the world’s most tried and trusted multipin, quick disconnect connectors. Designed around the Wireworks G-Series connectors, Wireworks AES/EBU cabling components will withstand the abuse that they will meet on the road.

diGi8 AES/EBU Components include the diGi8 MiniStageBox, diGi8 Trunks, diGi8 Fanouts and both diGi8 Digital and Analog Adapters. All these products use true AES/EBU 110Ω rugged jacketed cable and all connectors have heavy duty metal bodies with gold contacts for best results.

The cleverly designed digi8 MiniStageBoxes use unique, all steel chassis which are as small as they can be - only 1ru high x 9.5" wide (1/2 rack width) and 3" deep. Each box has 8 Neutrik black/gold connectors on one side (all male, all female or 4 male and 4 female XLRs or all TRS) and the truly robust G-Series connector on the other side. This unusually small package allows the widest variety of uses. All wiring inside diGi8 MiniStageBoxes is true AES/EBU. With the included base-plate, the unit is a tiny stagebox or simply wall mounted. Without the baseplate, the diGi8 boxes can be hung or hidden away. Two diGi8 boxes can be mounted side by side in the MMBR Rack Adaptor in only 1RU.

By providing the diGi8 MiniStageBox with a Wireworks G-Series connector, the diGi8 Trunk cables are able to be connected, either singly or in a chain, so short or long cable runs can be configured to meet varying system and venue needs. Wireworks popular BLS latching system prevents inadvertent disconnects. The diGi8 Cable Trunks are available in convenient standard lengths of 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100ft with other lengths to order. This heavy duty

AES/EBU Ω ohm cable has full 24 AWG conductors and a rugged jacket material to guard against damage from abuse or hard wear. Wireworks G-Series connectors have a cast metal body and full 16awg gold contacts. It is rectangular to prevent out-of-round problems prevalent with round multipin connectors.

To simplify termination to your equipment, the diGi8 Fanouts are available in a variety of configurations. Either male or female Wireworks G-Series connectors are available with a range of connectors terminating the eight tough color coded 4ft tails (all male, all female or 4 male and 4 female XLRs or all TRS).

Because the diGi8 system operates independently of any digital or analog wiring complications, the diGi8 Digital and Analog Adaptors allow interfacing to either of these standards. With either a male or female G-Series connector terminating one end of the eight channel AES/EBU cable, the other end terminates in a rugged, metal bodied, gold contact DB25. Both digital wired and analog wired Adaptors are available. This makes termination into your equipment a breeze.

The MMBR Rack Adapter rounds out the diGi8 Components. This unique item provides a simple way to rack-mount any combination of two diGi8 MiniStageBoxes side-by-side in only 1 rack space. The boxes can each be mounted in either flush or recessed with either the eight connectors or the G-Series connector facing forward!

By mixing-and-matching the different diGi8 components, systems of varying lengths and facility can easily be configured to suit all your AES/EBU needs.
